Dear colleagues, 

I kindly ask you to speed up the process of obtaining visas to Russia.

Please be advised that in dependence of visa type the set of required documents varies. 

Business visa

For obtaining "Business visa" you need to receive from Russia "invitation» from Federal Migration Service (FMS). Please certify this in the Consulate of Russia in your country. The list of required personal data necessary for submitting to FMS is given on this page below.

As the official period for obtaining "invitation" may be 1 month, we are forced to stop accepting applications for "invitations" on 26th April 2013.

In Russia from 1st May till 12th May with a short break we will have holidays and a real day of the next application of the University for "invitations" to FMS - 13th May. In this case original "invitation" may reach the University not earlier than 15-20 June and this will not leave you time for obtaining visa to Russia.

Tourist visa

Please clarify at your end in Consulate and Embassy of Russia possibility of obtaining "tourist visa" for which, as we know, "invitation" from FMS is not required.

If you need "invitation" from the University of the official form with signature and stamp contact me with simultaneous submitting of your passport data.

For registration “invitation” submit please the following information:
1. Clear copy of passport page (for registration visa) indicating basic data and validity of the passport (the passport is to be valid not less than 6 months after estimated time of trip ending)
2. Citizenship (if any more indicate via comma)
3. Place of birth (country, city)
4. Address: country, mail code, region, city, street, house, flat)
5. Place of obtaining visa (country, city with Consulate of Russia)
6. Place of work – full name of organization
7. Address of work place
8. Position at the organization, telephone, fax
9. Estimated time of coming to Russia, from ___till______
10. Estimated cities of visiting in Russia with regard to airport location (if you have intention to visit any more cities except Novorossiysk)
11. Address of estimated place of arrival: region, city, street, house, flat except Novorossiysk)
12. Your contact telephone
